Request Information
Ready to find out what ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï can do for you? We’ve got you covered.
Students areÌýaccepted with requirementsÌýto theÌýMSW Program at ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï when they have additional obligations to fulfill. This could include, but is not limited to, undergraduate degree completion, prerequisite course completion, low undergraduate GPA, or other items that are not in compliance with program eligibility standards. A student who is accepted with requirements must complete the specified criteria within the first six credit hours of enrollment or, in the case of undergraduate degree completion and prerequisite course completion, prior to the start of MSW Program coursework. Students who do not fulfill their acceptance requirements may be dismissed from the MSW Program. Certain requirements may affect the student’s ability to register – please refer to the criteria of your specific requirement for details.
Listed below are all possible acceptance requirements for the MSW Program – not every requirement may apply to you. Please refer to your admissions letter for your specific situation. Click on the appropriate link above or scroll down to find your requirement(s) for more information and next steps.
Students who submit unofficial transcripts for MSW Program admissions are accepted with the “Official Transcripts Required” requirement. This requires that official transcripts from all institutions attendedÌýmust be received by ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï prior to the end of your first term in the MSW Program (summer for Advanced Standing admits, fall for Regular Program admits).
If official transcripts from all institutions attended are not received prior toÌýthe end of your first term,Ìýa registration hold will be placed on your account prohibiting registration for future terms until official transcripts are received. You may also face withdrawal from any courses during your second term that you are already registered for.
The Office of Social Work Student ServicesÌýhighly encouragesÌýMSW Program students to submit official transcripts from all institutions attended prior to the start of their first term of the MSW Program.
Submit official transcripts to the Office of Graduate Studies. Transcripts can be submitted in one of the following methods. Please do notÌýsubmit any materials to the Office of Admissions at ÍøÆسԹÏ. Failure to submit using one of the options below may result in a delay in processing your transcripts.
If you have any questions about what official transcripts are still required or are currently on file, please emailÌý[email protected].
If you are ordering your transcripts and select to send them to a school, you may be forced to choose from a list of schools and will not be able to enter theÌý[email protected]Ìýemail or mailing address. If this is the situation,Ìýdo notÌýselect ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï as this will have your materials sent to the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Office of Admissions and will delay processing. Instead, you shouldÌýselect to send the transcripts to a third party at which point you should be able to directly enter our information. Sending to a third party and directly entering the email or physical address you want them sent to should be an option at all institutions. We have had transcripts from all schools in Colorado and from schools across the U.S. sent to us via the [email protected]Ìýaccount and Office of Graduate Studies mailing address.
This requirement will be met when an official transcript showing the completion of an undergraduate degree and the date conferred is received by the Office of Graduate Studies. The degree must be completed prior to starting the program and proof of completion must be provided prior to the end of the student’s first term in the MSW Program (summer for Advanced Standing admits, fall for Regular Program admits). If this item is not met per the specified timeline, the student will be dismissed from the Program.
Upon receiving proof of degree conferral, the Office of Graduate Studies will verify the cumulative undergraduate GPA and, in the case that the GPA is below 3.0, the Department of Social Work may alter your admission decision or requirements.
