Janine Davidson, Ph.D., is ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï’s current president. She is a bold supporter of our student body and has our sights set on making ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï the model urban university for opportunity, excellence and innovation.
Service is her life’s work. Prior to leading ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï, Davidson was the undersecretary of the United States Navy and then President Barack Obama’s appointed chief management officer for the Navy and Marine Corps.

ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï has , providing over 200 student-athletes with opportunities to compete in one of the state’s top sports programs while earning their degree.
Campus has its own police station and officers. 24/7 – 365 they are here for the campus community of all three institutions. You may even see them eating lunch with students or patrolling, they are always available for students and staff. (And make sure to say hi to Jet – the Auraria Police Departmnet K9 and mascot.)
You will also see a blue-light phones, emergency call buttons, well lit campus, a NightRider service and a text alert system – all in place to ensure the safety of the Auraria community.

ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï AlumniFetien Gebre-Michael (B.S. marketing, ’14) is the chef and businesswoman behind Konjo Catering, The Ethiopian Food Truck and Konjo Ethiopian Food. When the COVID-19 pandemic decimated the hospitality industry and racial justice protests rocked the streets, the communities her cooking always supported came together to sustain her and her businesses.
ESPN SportsCenter host Gary Striewski (B.A. speech communication, ’10) has followed opportunity from Thornton Middle School to ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï to the Worldwide Leader in Sports.
