Campus Recreation has helped me develop more relationships during my time here at ÍøÆسԹÏ. The hardest part about going to this school is meeting and talking with people. Before I started at Campus Rec, I rarely spoke with anybody, and it started to take a toll on my mental health near the end of the semester. Being able to come to work, talk with my co-workers and members, and spend time away from solitude has been very refreshing and I thoroughly enjoy it. Overall, Campus Rec is the best thing I could have asked for at ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï and I am very grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of it.

Working at Campus Recreation has opened avenues at school that I would have never thought possible. It allows me to engage with many students and to meet and do things with people that I would have never encountered. I absolutely love the work that I do here, as I get to personally see other students making connections with each other, and the joy of them having a great time. My time at the school has been greatly enriched by the time that I have spent with the people here, and I am endlessly grateful for the opportunity to do so. The people that I work with are always a great time to spend time with as well! The people in charge of Campus Recreation are a joy to work for, Diane, Luna, Haley, Dave, and Bryan give their all when it comes to taking care of the employees that work here. Without partnering and working for Campus Recreation, the community that we have grown would have never become as large or as engaged as it has become, and I look forward to the future of doing things with the people here on the campus. Out of any other department on campus, I believe that Campus Recreation is doing the most for the mental and physical well-being of the students overall. Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of the family that you have cultivated, and I hope that we can make the campus the best that it can be!

Hello! my name is Frank Fuentes (he/him) and I am one of the facility operators here at Campus Recreation! I am currently a second-year student for my degree in exercise science and as well having the honor in being a 1st gen. Working here on Campus is super convenient for me as I have availability to access the fitness center and my classes that are in the facility. As well being able to build a family here with many students that have either the same major as I do or even the same background as me! I have a plan to one day make both my academic and Athletic goals into a full-time career, then moving off to Europe! I love my sports, especially soccer as I can get competitive and make it into my priority. Also, I love my music as my hidden talent allowed me to learn 6+ instruments throughout my entire life! I am also a huge believer in my faith as it really identifies on who I am as a person.

I’m currently a 3rd year at ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï and a first-year generation student who’s going to finish college. I love working here at Campus Recreation because I get to apply what I’m currently learning in my degree onto my job in the field of marketing - I love my team and everyone who works for Campus Rec. I aspire to have photography involved in my life as much as possible and hope to never stop taking pictures. For fun I love animating in blender, playing video games, and archery.
