Located in the Auraria Event Center
Campus Recreation is located at the heart of campus within the Auraria Event Center, surrounded by the Tivoli, Health Center and the Library. Our fitness center and offices are in the northeast corner, but we utilize much of the building. See the list below for information about specific spaces.

Campus Recreation Spaces/Amenities
Trainings and meetings take place here. Located on the lower level, accessible by the stairs outside of the Fitness Center, or the back elevator through the gym.

Located on the lower level of the Event Center building. The Outdoor Pursuits Center is the place to visit for outings, rental gear and yard games. The Club sports office is also located on the lower level and is to-to place for information about our sports programming.
An activated campus ID for the current semester is required for entry. Stop by the recreation desk for access and information about locker rental options.

Including cardio equipment, free weights, and selectorized machines. Even has a climbing wall! Located in the northeast corner of the building.

This multi use space is available to all Campus Recreation members to reserve and use. Located in the very southeast corner of the building, behind the Multipurpose Room.
Healthy Pursuits classes (Yoga, Zumba, Pilates) are held here. Located on the west side of the building with all the glass doors.

Sports such as basketball, volleyball, and indoor soccer are played here. Located on the north side of the building.

Located on the upper level of the Auraria Event Center. This multi-use fitness space is home to our indoor cycling studio and functions as our main personal training space.

LOCKERS
All lockers are 35″H x 17″W x 23″D with a built-in 4-digit combination lock. Inside each locker are two hooks and a shelf. The shelf is 12″ from the top and is 4″ deep. Wheelchair accessible lockers are offered on the bottom row and have an additional shelf set 14″ from the floor and is the full depth of the locker. Rental lockers and free Day-Use lockers are available.
SHOWERS
Individual showers feature a wet and dry area which allows you a private changing space, right next to your towel. Soap and towels are not provided by Campus Recreation.
CHANGING ROOMS
The men’s and women’s locker rooms each have three changing rooms, while each gender inclusive locker room has 1 changing room. These spaces feature a locking door and mirror (think clothing store fitting room) for your privacy.
HAIR DRYERS
Wall-mounted hair dryers have been installed for your convenience.
ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS
High-powered hand dryers are offered as a paper towel alternative, but even if you elect to use paper towels they can be placed in the compostable receptacle.

Day-use lockers are offered in the following spaces:

* Women’s Locker Room (PE 105)
* Fitness Center (PE 110)
* Gender Inclusive Locker Room (PE 113)
Day-use lockers must be cleared out by closing of each business day. Abandoned items will be donated.
Rental Lockers
Exclusive for Campus Recreation Members. Choose from men’s, women’s and gender inclusive spaces.
Auraria Campus Students – $30/semester*
Non-Students – $40/semester*
