Student leadership programming provides diverse perspective on leadership and creates opportunities that can lead to transformational liberating results. Student leadership programs is centered on creating solidarity, acknowledging intersectionality, expanding social/civic engagement opportunities, and eliminating barriers by embracing the importance of identity throughout the college experience. The Urban Leadership Program was established in 2009 as a unique leadership experience at 网曝吃瓜. Scholars participate in coursework, experiential learning components, and mentorship throughout their time in the program. Each student receives a scholarship in addition to training and networking opportunities designed to grow understanding of self, others, and society.
Roadrunners Give Back offers three annual days of service that empower students to make a difference in their communities. The 9/11 Day of Service in September honors national unity through volunteerism. In January, the MLK Day of Service turns a day off into a 鈥渄ay on,鈥� promoting equity and civic engagement. The Summer Leadership Retreat is a multi-day experience that helps college students grow as confident, authentic leaders. Through team-building, workshops, and hands-on activities, students build community, explore their leadership identity, and gain practical tools to apply in campus roles, academics, and service.
Resist, Reclaim, Rebuild: Unapologetically Us is the theme of this year鈥檚 Women & Gender Equity in Leadership Summit. Join us for workshops and dialogue sessions that empower students of all identities to lead with authenticity, build community, and advocate for equity. Walk away with tools for resilience and the confidence to lead unapologetically.
The summit will be a full-day event, consisting of keynote speakers, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities. The keynote speakers will be experts in their respective fields and will provide insights and inspiration to attendees. Panel discussions will allow for in-depth exploration of important topics, while workshops will provide practical skills and strategies. Networking opportunities will allow attendees to connect with peers and professionals and explore potential career paths. Breakfast and lunch will be provided during the event.鈥�

Roadrunners Rock the Vote聽aligns with efforts from the American Democracy Project Committee at 网曝吃瓜. This program helps encourage voting and civic engagement in local, state and federal elections.
罢丑别听聽offers students a conceptual understanding of leadership studies that, when combined with co-curricular and experiential components, provides them with an increased awareness of their role in a world of multi-layered change.
