The brothers of Phi Beta Sigma are the Fraternitys most valuable resource and strength. They are the primary means by which the Phi Beta Sigma objectives will be achieved. In order to accomplish the Fraternitys objectives, it is essential that systems are instituted that effectively embody Culture For Service and Service For Humanity and promote brotherhood, scholarship and service.

Omega Psi Phi is the first African-American fraternity to be founded at a historically Black university. Since its founding in 1911, Omega Psi Phis stated purpose has been to attract and build a strong and effective force of men dedicated to its cardinal principles of manhood, scholarship, perseverance and uplift.
