Early admissions to an ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Nursing Program is available to students identified as international students by ÍøÆسԹϒs Admissions Office. The Nursing Department offers one early admission spot in each Traditional (TNO) and Accelerated (ANO) cohort. Applications are accepted throughout the year and spots are awarded on a rolling first-come first-served basis.

Applicants not offered early admissions for desired cohort may reapply for early admissions to a different cohort or apply through the general nursing application.

Please read the information below outlining the steps and process.

You must meet one of the following eligibility requirements to apply for early admissions:

1. 1. ÌýCompleted 3 or more of our nursing prerequisite courses with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
   2. ÌýCompleted 15 credit hours or more of any university coursework with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
   3. ÌýCompleted High School with an equivalent 3.0 GPA (U.S.) or higher
      • Non-U.S. GPAs are calculated by International Admissions teamÌý

Each applicant must complete the following steps.

1. Be admitted to MSU DenverÌý
   • Apply to ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï as an international student and choose Pre-nursing as your program.
2. Transfer Students: Submit all required official university documents
   • If you have completed university coursework, the Transcript Evaluation team will complete a Transfer Credit Review once they receive your official university documents.
   • Your previous university coursework may help you meet the eligibility requirements.Ìý
   • Please work with the International Admissions team for assistance with this step. We understand that extra time is often needed for international transcript evaluation.Ìý
3. Contact the Nursing Department
   • Email the Admissions Manager at [email protected] indicating that you are an international student and plan to apply for early admission to the nursing program. They will discuss your timeline and make sure you are eligible to apply.Ìý
4. Apply for early admissionsÌý

5. Complete the general application during the open application period for the cohort you were given early admissions to

Once an applicant is offered early acceptance, the applicant must maintain a minimum of 3.0 GPA in all nursing prerequisite coursework to retain their spot. If the applicant falls below this minimum requirement, then the applicant forfeits their spot, and the spot reopens to other international student applicants.
