AUGUST 2026

Welcome Orientation for New ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Graduate Students

We are looking forward to welcoming our incoming graduate students at a short, 1-hour Welcome Orientation. Experts from Financial Aid, the Counseling Center, the Access Center, the Auraria Library as well as a Graduate Studies expert on the Degree Progress Report (DPR) will share advice that should support your academic success.

SEPTEMBER-NOVEMBER 2026

Liberal Arts at Work

Join us this fall for the 2nd annual Liberal Arts at Work event series where faculty from ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï discuss the Liberal Arts’ Central Role in and for All Workplaces. Sessions are held every Thursday evening starting September 17 and ending November 5 and are one hour long. Registration is free! This year, we are offering a virtual attendance option along with in-person. Registered participants who attend at least six sessions in-person will earn a micro-credential and will receive a code for free parking for each registered session. The events take place in the Jordan Student Success Building, Room 400, from 6-7pm.

Colorado Graduate School Fair

Whether you are an interested undergraduate, alum, or returning graduate student, discover the diverse graduate programs offered here at ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï and around the state of Colorado. Registered attendees will receive a free code for parking and lunch.

MSU Preliminary 3MT Competition

Expand your horizons and learn how ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï graduate students are shaping their disciplines. ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï graduate students will have three minutes to share their passion and research with the audience. Join us to find out who will move on to the state-wide and the regional competitions! Refreshments will be provided.
