For ten years,听网曝吃瓜 Day of Giving听has听been the catalyst for听raising funds that听support听so many of the University鈥檚 programs,听scholarships听and clubs, providing our students with the resources they need to be successful!听From life-changing opportunities like听participating听in competitions听around the globe听and听study abroad, to听having access to听food, scholarships and emergency aid,听this annual fundraising event听is an anchor for student success.听

Thanks to the generosity of 1,923 donors鈥痬aking鈥�2,237 gifts to more than 120 projects,鈥痶he tenth annual giving event raised a record-breaking $449,271. We听can鈥檛听WAIT to see what we can听accomplish听with your support next year.听听

Together, we can听empower听all听Roadrunners to Rise!鈥�听

Here are 10听Day of Giving fundraising highlights听from the last decade:听

• 鈥�(2026)听blew their fundraising goal out of the water, raising听$17,566 to help upgrade their technology and improve the student-athlete experience. With more donors than any other鈥疍ay of Giving project, they also won the Roadrunners Athletics Giving Challenge.鈥�鈥�听

• 鈥�(2025)听raised听$4,775听($6,550听in 2026!)听to听keep the club growing by making the sport accessible to students and providing opportunities to鈥痯articipate鈥痠n competitions, regardless of financial limitations.听听

鈥淒onors who support Club Archery make coaching, equipment and travel more accessible to students wanting to learn a new skill and make friends or take archery to the next level and compete in national tournaments,鈥� said Trinity听Weiss, 网曝吃瓜 Club Archery President. 鈥淲e are so grateful for their generosity!鈥�听

• 听(2024)听raised $2,300 (over 150% of their goal!)听to听help reduce costs for students and community members seeking treatment.听听

The program, which launched in June 2022, has grown to include the addition of the听Bookhardt Family Speech-Language Clinic. Thanks to donor support, graduate students can provide free services to members of the Auraria Campus and the greater Denver community!听听

• 听(2023)听experienced the trip of a lifetime听in 2023, competing across Europe, engaging in new听cultures听and visiting the Albanian home of听a then-网曝吃瓜 junior setter听鈥� all thanks to donor support!听

鈥淲e are so thankful听to听everyone who contributed to making this trip happen,鈥澨齭aid Head Coach Jenny Glenn, who, along with the team, raised over $21,000 to support trip expenses.听鈥淲e knew it would be a big fundraising endeavor, but we also knew we couldn鈥檛 let the opportunity pass us by.鈥濃��听

• Rowdy鈥檚 Corner听(2022)听raised $6,888听to provide quality, nutritious food to the thousands of Roadrunners who听experience hunger and food insecurity each听week.听听

鈥淢any students do not have access to affordable and healthy food. As a student who has not been able to afford food, I know firsthand how important it is to have access to this resource.鈥澨齁enna S., Junior听

• Presidential Internship in Public Service听(2021)听raised $47,875 to provide a听cohort of 网曝吃瓜 undergraduate and graduate students听with a听fully-funded听opportunity听to live and work in Washington, D.C., for听10听weeks听each summer,听participating听in internships focused on public service. The听听visited the country鈥檚 capital in summer 2022 to learn from and impact the national service community!听

• The听Student Emergency Fund听(2020)听raised $88,043听to provide emergency stipends to students who are dealing with unanticipated catastrophic life events that might cause them to stop or pause their educational goals.听Thanks to the donors, hundreds of Roadrunners each year are able to overcome temporary crises, going on to achieve their dream of earning a degree and making an impact听in听our community!听

鈥淚 genuinely could not have gotten by without听additional听vehicle repairs.听It鈥檚听not just the ability to apply for鈥痚mergency鈥痜unds that is so helpful, but听also the help in accessing resources and support.鈥澨鼳nonymous听Student Emergency Fund听recipient听

• 网曝吃瓜 Day of Giving听2019听raised over $90,000, thanks to 532 donors. Over $26,000听was raised听for Roadrunners Athletics, which听included funding for听the听, where they took part in international competition, community service听events听and sightseeing.听听

• 听(2018)听raised $2,600听to听help听build a fully functional and equipped weight room, with the goal of providing听student-athletes with top-quality infrastructure.听听

• During听,听the听听raised听$600 with the goal of attending future competitions across the country.听In 2024, they won their听, with Roadrunner pilots sweeping the top three individual awards.听听
