The Denver Project for Humanistic Inquiry, or Dphi, enriches Denver鈥檚 intellectual and cultural life through programs that reframe perspectives, challenge assumptions, and stimulate dialogue about human thought, history, science, art and culture. Dphi organizes roundtable discussions, art exhibits, film screenings, theatrical performances and lectures centered on major issues and questions of abiding human concern. We host both local and international experts, artists, and some of the ‘greatest minds of our time.’
Dphi is the brainchild of a group of 网曝吃瓜 faculty interested in cultivating a culture of intellectual inquiry in Denver and creating connections between the university and other likeminded cultural institutions and individuals throughout the city.

RedLine is about connecting artists with the community. RedLine encourages artistic growth in an environment where artists can cross the red line to lose the inhibitions that may hold an artist back, while gaining support systems to excite the senses and realize one’s dreams. Artists are required to share their experiences and their personal creative’s with the community.”

“Tattered Cover is a large indie bookstore and cafe with the cozy feel and comfort of smaller bookshops, furnished with comfortable sofas and overstuffed chairs and and a world-class newsstand. We sell new and used books, in addition to crisp pre-discounted bargain editions. We are a Denver institution, a community gathering place, and an experience you can’t download.”

“In many ways, Ratio started in the punk scene back in the late 90鈥檚. We cut our teeth by touring, playing out, creating zines, and working at labels. That DIY mindset prepared us for the challenges of creating and sharing our passions on our own terms. Over the years that energy has been channeled into brewing, learning the craft in Germany and honing our skills at some of the most respected breweries in Colorado.”

The McNichols Civic Center Building is located at the northwest corner of Civic Center Park, at the intersection of Colfax and Bannock. In 1909, the cornerstone of the McNichols Building was laid. It set the foundation for the then Carnegie Library that would become a center of learning in Civic Center Park. That tradition continues as we re-opened the building in 2012 as a contemporary hub for arts and culture for the people of Denver. This stunning Greek Revival building with its classic Corinthian columns and iconic colonnade across its front, offers new experiences in a classic space.鈥�

A twenty-first-century historical society stablished in 1879, History Colorado is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and an agency of the State of Colorado under the Department of Higher Education. We offer public access to cultural and heritage resources of Colorado, including statewide museums聽and special programs for individuals and families, collection stewardship聽of Colorado鈥檚 historic treasures, educational resources for schools, students and teachers, services related to preservation, archaeology and history, and the Stephen H. Hart Research Library.
